Ian Headley

Ian Headley is the Deputy Superintendent at the South Carolina Department of Education, where he supports strategic initiatives and policy implementation for the state’s education system. Before joining the Department of Education in 2023, Headley built a diverse career across government, financial services, and business development. Earlier in his career, he served for eight years as Regional Director for U.S. Senator Jim DeMint, helping constituents navigate federal government issues.

Headley holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina.
