Early College Policy Fellow

John is an Early College Policy Fellow at Empower Schools, where he supports efforts to expand and strengthen Early College programs across the country. He is especially interested in Early College as a strategy to close equity gaps and create stronger, more accessible pathways into college and careers.

Prior to joining Empower Schools, John spent thirteen years as an educator in New Orleans. He taught math, coached teachers, and led a college counseling team.

John holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with his wife and young son. In his free time, he enjoys running, reading, and cooking.
