Hannah Sharfman

Hannah Sharfman is a Senior Manager based in Atlanta, Georgia. She leads Empower’s work related to the Rural Pathways Excellence Partnership (R-PEP) initiative, supporting over twenty rural districts across Texas. This work plays a critical role in ensuring that students in rural communities have access to meaningful college and career opportunities. Hannah also has past experience supporting rural collaborative work in Colorado.

Before joining Empower Schools, Hannah worked in education consulting, focusing on grant writing and project management related to education innovation. She began her career as an elementary school teacher in Houston, Texas, through Teach for America, where she developed a deep commitment to educational equity.

Hannah holds a B.A. in Political Science from the College of Wooster and an M.P.P. from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, Hannah is an avid runner, an enthusiastic reader, and a curious traveler.
