Carley Taronji serves as an Associate at Empower Schools supporting our rural innovation and post-secondary success work in Indiana. Carley has held a number of different roles in the Education field and has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering equitable outcomes for students and communities.

Throughout her career, Carley has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to equity and empowerment. As an Educator, Carley led data meetings and facilitated professional development workshops focused on equity and inclusion. By analyzing data and providing coaching feedback, she worked tirelessly to ensure that every student had the opportunity to thrive academically and personally. As an Instructional Coach, she provided targeted feedback to teachers, empowering them to embrace best practices and cultivate a culture of growth and excellence in their classrooms. Carley's experience as a Psychology Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology and as a Supplemental Instructor at Georgia State University further reflects her commitment to building capacity and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

Carley earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Driven by a passion for equitable outcomes, Carley continues to advocate for students and communities, striving to create a more just and inclusive education system for all..
